Note: We do not endorse the errant view represented by the images below. It is hate speech, and an open call for violence against people who are perceived to be different. We are calling it out and actively fighting against this view.

Paranoia and Hate based on bad theology

"David Koresh meets David Icke?"

You thought we were crazy, huh?

That we were making a big deal out of nothing?

We have been on the record for over two years now of saying we do not believe that modern Nephilim exist, and a large part of WHY we have pro-actively taken such a firm stance is because we saw this coming.

For the record and before they kick me out of their group, my first reaction to this site, from earlier today. Click to enlarge and read, if interested.

This new “group” has appeared on Facebook calling itself “NEPHILIM – How to Kill them or make them Submit.” They are soliciting ways of learning from one another how to “destroy or dominate” people (I’ll say) that they believe are in actuality non-humans walking amongst us today.

For those not in the know, one of the more disturbing aspects of this field of ministry to abductees involves usually well-meaning Christians, who believe that the angelic-human hybridization referenced in Genesis 6:1-4 – which produced the “giants” (KJV) of old, also known as the “Nephilim” (NIV) – continues still today. In short, some within the secular research field of “alien abduction” believe that aliens are mating with humans and producing hybrid offspring, but some Christians have of late promulgated the belief that it’s not aliens – but fallen angels (we’re with them to this point, until they say) that are currently mating with humans to produce hybrid offspring.

If that sounds odd as all get out to you, I don’t blame you for thinking so, but you’re late to the dance actually.

The recent point of contention however, is whether or not these presumed hybrids are “damned souls” or can they be saved by faith in Jesus Christ? We say “Yes they can” and while forced to sojourn into some pretty fringe theological areas to offer this hope to individuals under the *belief* that they are themselves hybrids, we nonetheless built a website (see www.NephilimHybrids.com) attempting to address the many theological concerns and misconceptions about these topics, while still promoting “preach the gospel to every creature…”

Of course most of the Christians who DO believe modern Nephilim exist today “un-friended us” – (literally, not in the Facebook sense) – and have generally turned on us, making all kinds of false accusations about us in the process. One well-known minister even e-mailed Paradox saying simply “The Lord rebuke you” as his response to the website.

Well, our general line of reasoning was “It’s worth the hate from the “brethren” if even one person out there comes to saving faith in Jesus Christ as a result of our new stance, who otherwise would find only websites or teachings claiming that they can’t be saved because of their “bloodline.”

Apparently (and as we also saw coming) now it’s not only someone’s eternal life that is in danger as a result of these “modern Nephilim” teachings – it’s becoming an issue of their mortal lives being endangered as well.

Welcome to the group and "God Bless"

The group’s moderator actively calls for its members to share means of destroying those whom any wingnut in the group believes to be a “Nephilim,” a “giant,” a “hybrid,” a “human-sized one” or a “tare.” This open call for and justification of violence and murder is (imho) a complete disgrace to any human being, much less a group that wants to portray itself as Christians acting upon the Bible as their reasoning behind their proposed atrocities.

I hate to say we told you so, but we told you so. Our stance on this has been firming up and becoming less and less of a “pulled punch” like it used to be, simply because of the stakes that have become more and more apparent to us, as we’ve heard from more and more people who are being discriminated against – even denied Christian fellowship – as a result of these teachings.

In a February 2010 magazine interview conducted by one well-known minister, I (Guy Malone) stated that I did not believe there was a “breeding program” (as the interviewer put it) currently underway, but that fallen angels were creating a “belief system” that such was the case. I also appealed that a lot of bad fruit was coming as a result of this belief system’s popularity.

In our 2010 “War of the Worlds” conference and panel discussion Joe Jordan and I responded rather firmly that we thought this hybridization program was a deception, was becoming quite dangerous, and we therefore are taking a very public stance against the false teaching. (Watch the video for free at the link. That’s when the unfriending really began, btw.)

Shortly afterwards, I made another attempt to voice some very specific ways I though that this belief system was dangerous in another article on abductions saying rather specifically this time :

“ We also wish to publicly rebut, rebuke, and state that we abhor any stance or teaching that affirms or encourages violence and/or discrimination toward those who are perceived to be, or perceive themselves to be, human-looking hybrids …

“We are in strict opposition to certain teachings that human-looking hybrids cannot be saved, and we are aware that – sadly – eventually certain “fringe” element “loose cannon religious nut” types could at some point commit or condone violence towards those whom they perceive to be hybrids – based on the bad fruit of these teachings.
“We affirm that violence of any kind goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ, and openly condemn any act of violence or discrimination based upon belief in modern human-looking hybrids.

You thought we were crazy, huh?

Well BOOM here it is.

A so-called Christian group calling for the extermination or dominance of those whom they have the gaul to label hybrids.

We are crazy actually.

Our crazy-love for those oppressed and attacked in their own homes by fallen angels claiming to be from other planets remains. If you believe you’re being abducted by aliens routinely, search this website for the testimonies of over 100 people who have found that the experience can be stopped by the name and authority of Jesus Christ. If you believe that you are a “hybrid” of any type, we also affirm that you can have eternal life and be saved because of Jesus Christ’s atoning death on your behalf, and His resurrection from the dead.

Jesus has fought and won the battle for you already. We’re just crazy enough to fight the false teachings trying to keep you from knowing Him.

And so another one of us comes out of the closet.

Did you know that TV’s “The Nanny” is an alien abductee?

So she says, or as this HuffingtonPost Celebrity article headline reads “Fran Drescher Believes She Was Abducted By Aliens”

If you’re laughing, you don’t belong on this site by the way. Then again, maybe you need to be here more than others.

People claiming accounts of “alien abduction” is by no means a new phenomena. Perhaps the most credible study of such was 1995′s Alien Discussions: Proceedings of the Abduction Study Conference Held at M.I.T. Cambridge, Ma. where Harvard professor of Psychology and Pullitzer-Prize winning author  Dr. John Mack, PhD co-chaired a conference on the topic at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with over 800 in attendance and 118 professional papers authored by scientists and researchers which were shared publicly.

In the case of  Drescher, against the rather high odds of public ridicule, she recently claims that she and her (now ex-) husband have identical scars “where the chip is” although she says the “aliens programmed” them to think there was another cause of the scarring, and that they were likewise “programmed” to meet one another.

I applaud both Drescher (and below, “Red Rocker” Sammy Hagar of Van Halen’s second incarnation) for having the courage to speak of their personal traumas openly, despite the ridicule they have no doubt experienced as a result of doing so. I’m no stranger to this myself.

“Wait, did you say Sammy Hagar is ALSO an alien abductee?”

Yes, he too told (portions of) his stories of alien encounters in his March 2011 autobiography “Red”. This news was well-circulated then, and here I offer an excerpt from a lesser-known interview where he goes into more detail than his co-author advised him should go into the book.

Eric Spitznagel’s telephone interview with Sammy Hagar (Warning: Full interview contains explicit material)

“ES: Okay, let’s just cut to the chase. I’m just going to come out and ask it. Have you ever been abducted by aliens?

SH: I think I have.

ES: What? Really? I was kidding. You seriously believe that?

SH: [Laughs.] Now you’re making me sound like a crazy person.
ES: How is that crazy? I wasn’t there, I don’t know what happened to you.
SH: Remember the story in the book, where I have a dream about being contacted by aliens in the foothills above Fontana?
ES: Yeah, yeah, I’ve got the page right here. “I saw a ship and two creatures inside of this ship… And they were connected to me, tapped into my mind through some kind of mysterious wireless connection.” You’re telling me that wasn’t a dream?
SH: That’s right. It was real. [Aliens] were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, “—-, they downloaded something into me!” Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. “See what this guy knows.”
ES: And this actually happened?
SH: That happened. That friggin’ happened, I’ll tell you right now. Another thing happened when I was about four that I didn’t put into the book. One time I saw what I considered to be, well, at the time I thought it was a car with no wheels. We lived out in the country and I saw this thing floating across a field, creating this big dust storm. I threw rocks at it and —-. And I don’t know what happened after that.
ES: You blacked out?
SH: I guess. I just have no memory of it. And that wasn’t a dream. It was during daylight.
ES: I can understand your apprehension. Alien abduction is a tough sell.
SH: Especially back a few decades ago, when this stuff happened to me. I couldn’t talk about it because I didn’t know how to explain it. I didn’t understand the technology. But now I’m pretty sure it was a wireless situation. Either a download or upload. They were tapped into my brain and the knowledge was transferred back and forth. I could see them and everything while it was happening. There was a visual involved, almost like … I don’t know. [Laughs.] Don’t get me going!”
-end interview quotes-

Hagar underwent what so many struggling with a belief that they’ve been abducted deal with – “I couldn’t talk about it..” he says. What’s obvious from this interview, is that he’s also had to deal with the stigma of being thought of as crazy if and whenever he’s shared his story.

We believe him, and only wish that we had been a resource for him long ago, before his life took the arguably unwise turns it did.

While Spitznigel (above) may call “alien abduction a tough sell” apparently it’s not so much as hard a sell for one to get people to believe them when they share such a story today as some might think…

Just consider what was published in The Washington Post in regards to this exact same Hagar revelation, by columnist Jen Cheney:

“Personally, I don’t find the alien part of it so nutty. I grew up on “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “E.T.” — I was raised to think that extraterrestrials would show up on this planet eventually.”

THERE ya have it.. a Washington Post reporter stating EXACTLY what we’ve been stating for over a decade .. that society is being *primed* to believe and accept that aliens are real, and will make a dramatic public debut in the near future.  The personal stories and testimonies of many of those affiliated with this site aside, we know that many have called us crazy simply for stating that (!) alone, but now you can also see it in black and white from someone not “prophecying” a religious message connected with the topic.

This (perhaps new-to-you) public belief has been developing for quite some time actually.  As early as 1998 (perhaps earlier) the authors at CuttingEdge.org detailed their belief of how society’s views are intentionally being changed by “New World Order” types to condition all of humanity to believe formerly preposterous ideas – including, but not limited to – the presence of UFOs and aliens among us. The pattern is the same no matter the topic, they claim, according to their long-time published Six-Step Attitudinal Change Plan :

“Step 1. Some practice so offensive that it can scarcely be discussed in public is advocated by a RESPECTED expert in a RESPECTED forum.
Step 2. At first, the public is shocked, then outraged.
Step 3. But, the VERY FACT that such a thing could be publicly debated becomes the SUBJECT of the debate.
Step 4. In the process, sheer repetition of the shocking subject under discussion gradually dulling its effect.
Step 5. People then are no longer shocked by the subject.
Step 6. No longer outraged, people begin to argue for positions to moderate the extreme; or, they accept the premise, challenging, instead, the means to ACHIEVE it.

This insidious method of changing the deeply-held attitudes of people is being successfully directed toward the American population as a whole. Millions of people are experiencing attitudinal changes on a wide variety of subjects today. This attitudinal change is essential to achieving the New World Order.”

See, it’s not just us! Admittedly, neither Fran Drescher nor Sammy Hagar are “respected experts in respected forums” on the topic of alien abduction at least. But as mentioned, that work has already been done, in part by the previously mentioned Alien Abduction Conference at M.I.T.

The celebrities mentioned in this article are most likely the by-product of the conference’s gradual influence on society as a whole. In short, the once ridiculed topic of alien abduction and “abducteees” has obviously become more and more mainstream over time, and easier and easier to accept.

With more and more “celebrity endorsements” in fact, it may well now become almost “cool” or “trendy” to admit publicly that one is an alien abductee. Not unlike what we see in culture today as a result of the writings of Anne Rice and the more recent wildly popular “Twilight Saga” books and movies, young people today find themselves more and more prone to believe that vampires are real, romantic figures, and open to seeking visitations from them.

Not to mention aliens.

Who can forget the scene from the movie “Independence Day” where the girl on the roof holds the sign “Take Me!” up to the alien craft, just before the blue light starts shining .. for my mind, this is perhaps THE single most prophetic image in all of film-making related to this topic.. someone being conditioned enough by today’s views on aliens to run towards and embrace the very thing that means them only destruction.

For our purposes, it’s spiritual destruction of course. I don’t think that any of the authors or celebrities mentioned here are willingly participating in the de-sensitization of society to embrace so-called “alien” messages, spiritual paths, or the destruction it leads to for so many.

But the celebrity promotion of alien encounters is just one more “sign of the times” that our readers should be aware of. As the decades-old stigma weakens in power, you should know that the deception gains in power.

Fore-warned is fore-armed.

Abductee, contactee, celebrity or curious web-surfer, we’re doing our best to counter the tide of society’s conditioning. And we know we’re losing. What is going to come is already prophecied, and “the end-times delusion” we speak of so often will prevail, at least to the masses.

As long as God sees fit however, we are here for “the one” not the ninety-nine. Contact us if you are experiencing alien abduction and would like to see the experience halted, and please continue to pray for us that our message, websites, books and DVDs make it to those most seriously impacted by these experiences and deceptions.

Sammy and Fran, feel free to request more information be sent to you as well, if you’re open to evaluating a decidely alternative explanation for what has happened to you.

We believe you, by the way.

Guy Malone

Okay nothing alien-themed here, just my crazy Non-Holiday Holiday Blog for ya! It’s a simple “Comparison & Contrast” Essay – the kind we all had to write in school.

In true English 101 Style, I’m going to compare and contrast what I see as glaring differences in the overall MESSAGES INHERENT WITHIN the stories and songs of “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “The Little Drummer Boy” and just exactly what VALUES are being represented to kids through them.

Yeh I know… “Only you, Guy…..” ;)

At the beginning of the Rudolph story, we meet a lonely outcast – a freak, who nobody liked, wanted around them, and who wasn’t even allowed to play in “any reindeer games.” Been there.

BUT THEN all of sudden they find something USEFUL for him to do and Boom. Over… night… celebrity. “THEN how the reindeer loved him..”

(For this writing I’m going to mostly skip over what this tells us about “normal” society in general, but I can’t help to at least want to mention this right off – that it’s tragic how we don’t necessarily value others as simply being valuable and having intrinsic worth because they’re alive and in our lives. No, we are like consumers – of people.  So often, we sadly only value others when they can produce something for us.)

But my main point here – for comparison to The The Little Drummer Boy – is that Rudolph achieved this celebrity status and going “down in history” NOT based upon any hard work of his own. There was no determination on his part to overcome his tragic circumstances. He made absolutely no effort to change his lot in life. None! And yet through no force of will or even trying on his part, his life just suddenly changed overnight. Without lifting a darn finger (or, hoof) he achieved “hero status,” and apparently lived happily ever after.

So, I’m merely pointing out that American kids are soaking up the message that their life can change and they can become successful and happy with absolutely no effort on their part. And yes, I realize that actually CAN happen to people, it’s just strikes me as really defeatist that from such an early age kids are taught to assume that this might actually be how life works. (Okay, it’s a fairy tale, I know, and I’m making a bigger deal out of than perhaps I should, but just for fun!)

By contrast, meet The Little Drummer Boy. He was a big fat nodody, from nowhere, who had nothing. He had no inheritance coming, and no winning lottery ticket under his pillow. He also had no shiny mutation or genetic x-factor that was going to spring up in puberty and make him more powerful than others. He was like you and me for the most part, and was probably going to wind up as insignificant in this life as insignificant gets.

But… he wasn’t satisfied to let that happen, nor to merely sit around waiting for the miracle to come that would take his own life over the rainbow. The Little Drummer Boy, unlike Rudolph, had a little drive. He had an interest -perhaps a passion – for developing the gift that was in him, into a genuine skill.

Drummer Boy did not spend his days in idleness, nor fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way. Drummer Boy got to work. Drummer Boy practiced. When the crying time was over, Drummer Boy got good at something.

And in the fullness of time, Drummer Boy found himself at the right place, at the right time. When everybody else around him was showering the Incarnate Son of God with gifts, altho Drummer Boy had “no gift to bring” (pa rum pa pum pum) … “that’s fit to give a King” (pa rum pa pum pum) he was NOT in fact empty-handed.

Drummer Boy played.

The ox and lamb kept time. (pa rum pa pum pum)

He played his best for Him. (pa rum pa pum pum)

Annnnnnd God smiled at him.

We don’t actually know whatever became of Little Drummer Boy, but with a start in life like THAT, I can only imagine he went far. He at least (like Rudolph) also went down in history, and today his song too is still sung.

However, here’s my issue. Of the two songs, which one is the more popular and well-known? It’s Rudolph, by a large margin. “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” is in fact the 2nd best selling Christmas song of all time (White Christmas is #1).

To be honest, I had to Google the lyrics to Little Drummer Boy just to quote it accurately above for you. Heck, if it weren’t for Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, would any of us today really even know the song at all? And that’s what I’m saying about American values, and the lessons we’re passing on being apparent in what is most popular!

The message inherent in The Little Drummer Boy, and the lesson it teaches, is to my thinking farrrrr more morally superior to the values present in Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and clearly the message that should be instilled into our future generations. It’s a story of over-coming adversity and disadvantage through discipline, and of making something of one’s self when the odds are stacked against you. (“Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!”) But it’s not just about you – oh no. It’s also the story of how God approves of (smiles upon) those who fan the flame of the gift that is in them, and then how He uses your skill to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rudolph is a merely a story – inspirational somewhat, yes – of how your luck can change even if you do nothing. Stretching things a bit, it might even be argued that it’s a story of how what you think is a handicap can be a blessing. I’ll give it that even. But, between teaching kids about things getting better in spite of your lack of effort, or BECAUSE OF your efforts – which is truly the better message and value to instill in young minds?

Thanks for hanging with me this long. I’ll end by saying

Opportunity favors the Prepared… May both the miraculous providence that appeared suddenly in Rudolph’s life AND may the drive and determination that characterized The Little Drummer Boy’s life, be yours in 2012.

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you…” 2 Tim 1:6 and “Do not neglect your gift…” 1 Tim 4:14

Joan Jett – Little Drummer Boy (Live)

“…And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie…”
2 Thess 2:11

Especially for those who might be first-time visitors to this site, or who just aren’t as “immersed” (thankfully) in the UFO topic,  I feel a burden to share the impact of two recent articles buzzing around amongst the more entrenched folks in the UFO community. The point of doing so is to demonstrate that people world-wide are “falling for” a strong delusion that dramatically impacts their worldview.

You might likely be very tempted to ask “Just who takes this UFO and alien stuff seriously, anyways?” If that’s you, then the below linked very recent articles may prove kind of shocking, and perhaps eye-opening at the same time.

The more recent article alleges that the government of Mexico is at present STATING AS OUTRIGHT FACT that aliens visited their civilization in ages past, in co-operation with an upcoming documentary about the Mayan civilization and 2012. Hollywood-style hype aside, the article begins by saying that

“A new documentary about Mayan civilization will provide evidence of extraterrestrial contact with the ancient culture, according to a Mexican government official and the film’s producer.”

The claim is made all the more believable because this “Mexican government official” also references documents “…which the government has kept secure in underground vaults for some time” and (in an earlier article, linked within the text of this one) that

“The Mexican government is releasing state-held secrets…”

Ooo-oo-hh! Well who doesn’t love that?

I’m not saying that it isn’t true that Mexico is releasing something of note to this film-maker, BUT if you caught my earlier personal Facebook post last week… Well, yes, I was being a bit snarky when I said that the country of Mexico – being so close to the City of Roswell New Mexico (where I lived for 11 years) – must have learned a thing or two from Roswell about attracting tourism via promoting the alien phenomena. But snarky or not, I think most people reading these articles read only that a “Mexican government official” is making these statements, yet they  LOOK STRAIGHT PAST the fact that the official in question is in fact – and I’m quoting the article directly here – “the minister of tourism for the Mexican state of Campeche.”

No doubt, if you read Page 2 of this article, and the one linked within it, you will discover that both the former and current Presidents of Mexico (Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderon) AND the President of Guatemala, Alvaro Colom Caballero, have apparently green-lighted the claims of the documentary. Their names add weight no doubt, but I also must stress that any critical reading of these articles will reveal that TOURISM ministers and TOURISM dollars (the love of money) seem to be the strongest motivators behind any official government sanctioning of the claims of this documentary, and the skewed interpretations relating to official government “Disclosure” of “alien” contact.

The articles currently have a lot of steam in the UFO/Alien-searching corners of the Internet tho. I wouldn’t trust the end-product of this documentary to NOT be simply pandering to popular appeal in an effort to rake in cash based on current popular trends, OR to be any more factual than a Stephen Spielberg movie.

The documents and archeologists quoted in the film will likely be convincing in that something hard-to-explain today was going on in the ancient past, but guess what? We already knew that. I humbly “predict” however that no true evidence will be offered that the phenomena was extra terrestrial in origin, but will offer speculations of such, presented as fact. But my beliefs are not the issue here. The fact that these articles and claims are spreading across the Internet like wildfire and impacting less-read and less-jaundiced minds – feeding an alien-enamored worldview – is the issue.

Just as the History Channel’s 2011 “Ancient Aliens” series is being absorbed by millions as factual, the claims of this article – and the upcoming 2012 documentary – ARE being absorbed and believed by people world-wide, as part of a seemingly never-ending barrage of convincing people that alien visitations should be accepted as real occurrences, while other explanations for the phenomena (such as this and other sites offer) are generally dismissed by popular media, Hollywood types, and “itching ears” world-wide alike.

Moving state-side, and since I mentioned the term “Disclosure” …

Did you know that our very own United States’ White House website recently became home to a popular alien-themed petition?

In the words of Alejandro Rojas’ September 2011 article “Will the White House Come Clean on Extra-Terrestrial Visitation?” the petition requests the President of the United states to “formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.”

(As if there provably IS such a thing; see my (Guy Malone’s) comments posted below the linked article.)

But as this article tells us, according to The White House’s rules posted (Oops! “Formerly posted”) on the website, they WILL officially respond to any petition reaching 5,000 signatures in the allotted time. Well guess what? This particular petition reached over 10,000 signatures, in considerably less than the time required.

Are you finding that difficult to believe? 10,000 people demanding the U.S. government to disclose to us what they know about UFOs and extra terrestrials?!?

Apparently, so did The White House. Before the time came to “make good” on the promise of an official response to this petition (and perhaps others, I’m guessing) I just checked while typing this, and the thresh-hold has somehow just recently jumped to 25,000 signatures.

(My personal condolences to petition organizer Stephen Bassett, who did all the work necessary to obtain the originally required number of signatures, btw. I would have signed it myself and encouraged others to do the same, with just a little different wording – again, see my comments below Alejandro’s article.)

So back to the original question of just who takes this UFO/Alien stuff seriously.. it should awaken you a bit to know that – even in this age of government and internet security paranoia  - over 10,000 people took the time to REGISTER, create an account with WhiteHouse.gov, and sign their name and address to this petition!

I don’t know if you ever really followed the X-Files TV show or not, but you have to admit, the type of person who would likely sign this petition may not exactly “fit the profile” of someone whom you’d think would register their name and address with WhiteHouse.gov for ANY reason. My point being, that perhaps 100,000 (call them “paranoid conspiracy types” if you must) or more may have signed it, if registration weren’t such an issue.

But 10,000 or 100,000, I write this mainly to let you know that the numbers of people who’s worldview, who’s media buying choices, and even who’s political actions suggest an ardent belief that alleged aliens have, are (and WILL – search our site) play/ed a role in humanity’s development is simply more staggering than you will probably ever realize – especially if you are a first-time visitor to this site.

If it’s true in fact, and if it’s true that world governments have been aware of and have likewise been long-complicit in covering up the very evidence of such (and these two very recent articles alone scratch the surface of suggesting just that to the casual reader) then it’s possibly the second most important announcement in the history of mankind.

(The first most important announcement being the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, thanks for asking.)

However, if it’s not true, then clearly the mere existence of these articles (much less their popularity) are perhaps your waking introduction to what is obviously perhaps the greatest deception in the history of mankind.

Ancient ruins and modern reports are indeed mysteries that seemingly defy *human* explanation. As our site insists, these things do not defy *rational* explanation however, and much less, they do not defy a  Biblical explanation.

For those NOT new to this site or these views, I’d like to leave you with a simple closing thought, and perhaps a challenge:

If you agree with our views and want to see people set free from the deceptions inherent in the above posted articles, please do not neglect to share our information with others. The best equipping tool we currently offer is perhaps our Online Videos Page, packed with cumulative decades of research dedicated to freely offering powerful teachings which will most likely answer 90-100% of your questions about the alien phenomena.

From these two new articles above alone tho, you should be reminded that these beliefs are more entrenched into modern people’s worldviews and belief systems than you might have previously believed, and are clearly becoming more and more part of the unsaved “everyman’s” belief systems of today. Your efforts to help counter these strongholds become more and more relevant with each passing day.

These above-mentioned articles barely scratch the surface in fact, but our site as a whole is offered as an aid to help you get to the bottom of the mystery, and to not be deceived by what we believe 2 Thessalonians predicts will be the greatest and most powerful delusion this world has ever known.

Your participation in publicizing these views is deeply appreciated.

Yours because His,

Guy and Joe at the 2010 booth. Alas, no mas?

The Fourth of July brings perhaps a variety of things to mind for many of us.

To most perhaps, it is a holiday to celebrate the Declaration of Independence and the vision America’s founding fathers had for this country. It’s also a reminder to us of the sacrifice of those who died to make such a dream come true, and those who have died to protect that dream since.

Along with that, the holiday is also filled with plans and memories of family picnics and awesome fireworks displays… good times!

Some these days however, may find themselves lamenting how far our country has apparently drifted lately from the ideals set forth in 1776 by these founding fathers. Perhaps you find yourself pondering if the principals that have been fought and died for over recent centuries even have a home in America today anymore?

Germane to this field and this website – and you specific readers! – it cannot be forgotten that the now-classic Sci-Fi film “Independence Day” was released this weekend in 1996, in some ways permanently also wedding the topic of “aliens” to the holiday, at least in the minds of geeks like us!

By coincidence (?) 1996 also birthed the earliest incarnation of The Roswell UFO Festival. In 1997 the UFO Festival received global press and attention by marking the 50th anniversary of the 1947 Incident, and the fest has since become something of an American icon now, having a life of its own, whether it’s a good year or bad year attendance-wise.

And it is in Roswell, and the UFO Festival, where my thoughts are this holiday weekend.

I moved to Roswell NM right around July 1st wayyyyy back in 1999, just in time to sign a lease on a dumpy $220/mo apartment, unload my red pick-em-up truck, and set up my very first “outreach booth” at the Festival.

I received via UPS my first and only large print-run of my book/tract “Come Sail Away” from the publisher (2 days late, that is), had a few thousand paper handouts with the book cover’s art and the www.seekye1.com url – where the book could be read for free – printed out as giveaways. I had – for the first time – girded myself to appear in public to tell folks that the event and phenomena they were there to celebrate or learn of was a demonic deception and that Jesus Christ and The Bible were the answers to the questions they had, and were also how to be set free from the doctrines of devils (and, for some, tormenting spirits) they were opening themselves up to by delving further into the topic. Ahh, who ever forgets their Freshman year?

The turn-out for that year’s Festival was pretty abysmal, btw – way below the numbers advertised by the promoters. As it turned out, this has often been the norm for the event since. But whether 1,000, 10,000, or 50,000, there were always people at the UFO Festival who needed and in some way responded to the materials and research offered by myself (and later my colleagues).

That wasn’t the only disappointment I had after moving to Roswell either. You probably know the story if you’re a regular visitor to this website – I’ve told it a hundred times since : My “plan” was to get the book placed in the tourist locations, then maybe set up re-order procedures and move back to Nashville. God had a different plan than I did apparently. Neither the UFO Museum nor the large Christian bookstore would carry the book. Also, the local churches weren’t exactly as receptive to my teaching or presence as I had vainly imagined they would be either. Too much money was made in Roswell off of merchandising “alien” stuff, so someone coming along and bashing it all (so to speak) was destined to have quite a hard time. I stayed, but absolutely nothing I thought would happen upon moving to Roswell ever came to pass. I couldn’t find the type of work I wanted in Roswell either (applied as a writer/reporter for the local newspaper, wanted to work on business websites for the local ISP, etc). Altho I didn’t want to, out of financial necessity I began waiting tables again at yet another restaurant after a few weeks of living there.

Overall, it was just one long season of bitter disappointment in fact. But as you know, a different version of history than my plans afforded eventually played out.

From 1999 – 2010 (12 festivals total) to me, the Fourth of July has meant nothing else but sometimes months of preparation (especially once the conferences started) and several long days of outreach related activity.

As I type this, the Roswell UFO Festival is currently underway, and I’m not there. Sure, 11-12 years is a long time to be doing anything. It’s not that “I miss it” so much that has me typing this or thinking these thoughts today tho. It’s just that I feel a burden of sorts : I am aware that there are people (tourists mostly) in Roswell right now wandering around looking for “the truth” behind aliens and UFOs, and as far as I am aware of, there is no Christian ministry presence there to meet them. I’m also aware of the type of occultic and New Age ambassadors that are there to meet them, whom this year, get to represent their messages unopposed, or without giving the tourists/seekers a Biblical answer to incorporate into whatever else they find in Roswell.

Add to that the fact that so far at least, pretty much nothing I/we envisioned about being here in Orlando has come to pass. It’s been tough. I currently work (seculalry) more shifts and earn less money than when we left Roswell, and for the first time in probably twenty years, as of this weekend, I once again know the feeling of being late on rent.

It all adds up to a feeling of “Have we missed God? Did we abandon our post? Why are we even here?”

It is said in modern terms, that “nature abhors a vacuum.” I wonder if this is God’s way as well? Perhaps it will prove out that our very absence – and the absence of the gospel being presented publicly at this event – is what it might take for some of the actual native Christian citizenry of Roswell to finally realize that this has been their mission field to work all along. I wasn’t the first and am far from the only Christian worker God has sent there to represent the gospel amongst the alien-enamored truth seekers that visit Roswell daily, and in droves during the July Festival. Cracked vessel that I am, ridden with so many faults and foibles, is it possible that I needed to leave so that God could send, or raise up, another, more qualified person or group? Or might He still call us back there – either full-time or just for Festivals?

I know the answer to none of this. I do know that – no money aside – we had no vision from God calling or compelling us to go and work a booth, or speak, or hold a conference this year. Maybe it’s so that the above dynamics can be played out, I don’t know. We’ve also considered that the events I’ve co-produced since 2003 – first intended as an alternative to other views being peddled – had perhaps themselves become an attraction, making the UFO Festival larger and more successful than it needed to be.

It’s no secret that the UFO Festival itself had nearly fizzled to a slow death by 2005-2006, before the new Mayor got involved and put City funds and staff into making it larger. And God saw fit to allow me favor in “that regime” to incorporate Christian teachings on the UFO/Alien topic into the larger mix. But last year the new Mayor pulled The City out of it as a whole, just as God was (we thought) leading us to leave as well.

From what I’ve heard so far, it’s a pretty lack-luster event this year again. The event used to get global press months in advance, but the first news story that came out on it this year – only about a week in advance for that matter – reads UFO Festival Drops Some Events After Low Interest. Can’t help wonder if the lack of sponsors, City funding, Christian conferences and even “interest” according to that local news story all mean that it’s just going to fizzle out again?

If there’s a need for us to be there next year, I bet God will make a way (through donations from people like you perhaps, haha – we’ll keep you posted of any vision we have for such).

In the meantime, we’ll keep asking God what He wants us to do – either while here or from here – and hopefully be attentive to how He leads next. I know that seasons of of “wandering aimlessly, asking why we ever left and wondering where we’re going” is often the norm for God’s people. I’be been through it before, perhaps you have too, and it is in fact how the Jewish calendar starts in the first place. I can only hope that this is normative, and part of God’s plan for us this time as well.

This year, my 4th of July will be spent on a “double-shift” waiting tables both lunch and dinner. Either way you look at it, it’s never a holiday for me I guess, but a long work day.

Those so inclined, please continue to pray for us here in Florida, for God’s vision and provision to be realized. And Happy 4th to everyone, whatever it means to you this year!

In Christ,

Guy
